Programming

Programs built around young people, not just golf swings.

Every FFGF program combines golf instruction with structured mentorship and character development. Formats vary by partner and season — contact us for current scheduling.

Youth Golf Programs

Accessible golf instruction designed to introduce young people to the game while developing confidence, discipline, decision-making, emotional regulation, and other transferable life skills.

Who it serves: Youth new to golf and returning participants, typically in cohorts of 20–30.
Format: Group instruction sessions, typically ongoing across the season.
Program example: A four-week youth golf program (20-youth cohort) delivered at Deerfield Beach Middle School.

Fundamentals instruction is often organized around the GASP framework — Grip, Alignment, Stance, and Posture — and, depending on the program, may use tools such as Putting Tic-Tac-Toe, SNAG Golf, BirdieRex, or chipping targets.

After-School Programs

Structured programming that combines golf, enrichment, mentorship, emotional regulation, and positive after-school engagement. FFGF has delivered multi-week after-school programming with community partners, including Community-Based Connections.

Who it serves: Middle and high school-age youth, typically in cohorts of 20–30.
Format: Multi-week sessions, typically delivered in partnership with a school or community organization.

Program examples: A 16-session program with Community-Based Connections (30-youth cohort, program budget approximately $5,500). Separately, an 8-week youth after-school program with 27 participants tracked approximately 85% attendance and approximately 90% completion for that program.

Who it serves: Youth and families new to FFGF.
Format: Single-day clinics, typically hosted with a community or golf facility partner.

Program example: A three-day youth golf clinic (20-youth cohort) delivered in partnership with MAC, incorporating emotional regulation alongside golf instruction, mentorship, and enrichment.

STEAM

STEAM + Golf

Programs connecting golf with technology, measurement, science, and innovation. FFGF's STEAM programming includes golf simulator technology that gives youth real-time launch data and virtual course play alongside hands-on instruction.

Who it serves: Youth interested in the technical and analytical side of the game.
Format: Classroom and range-based sessions combining instruction with technology and emotional regulation — focus and self-awareness under pressure.

Depending on the program, this can also include tools such as TrackMan, Foresight GC3, or additional simulator setups. Not every program uses every tool — availability depends on the partner site and program design.

Youth Diversion & Community Programming

Who it serves: Youth referred through community and public-safety partnerships, typically in cohorts of 20–50 depending on the partner.
Format: Structured multi-week programming, developed jointly with each partner organization.

Program examples: A 16-week, multi-cohort program with His House Children's Home (50-youth cohort), combining golf instruction, mentorship, enrichment, and emotional regulation with on-site programming and golf experiences at Topgolf Miami Gardens. Separately, FFGF has delivered youth programming in partnership environments involving the Broward Sheriff's Office, including BSO Explorers and BSO Juvenile Justice–related programming.

Pathways & Opportunities

FFGF exposes youth to the broader ecosystem surrounding golf — golf facilities and environments, golf technology, education, careers connected to golf and sports, networking, mentorship, and future opportunities, including potential scholarship pathways. FFGF frames this as exposure to potential pathways, not a guarantee of scholarships, placement, or outcomes.
