Golf opens the door. Development changes the trajectory.
Fairway Future Golf Foundation, Inc. is a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit that uses golf as a vehicle for youth development, education, mentorship, character development, and community engagement across South Florida.
Using golf to create positive pathways for young people.
FFGF exists to give young people — particularly those with limited access to the game — structured mentorship, enrichment, and positive community experiences through golf. We work with schools, community organizations, law enforcement and community partners, youth-serving organizations, and golf facilities throughout South Florida to deliver programming that builds character alongside skill.

A South Florida where every young person has access to the game — and everything it teaches.
We envision a future where golf is not a gatekept sport but a genuine tool for opportunity: a place where a young person can build confidence, learn accountability, and discover pathways to higher education, careers, and lifelong participation in the game.
The game is golf. The lessons last a lifetime.
Golf is one of the few sports where a young person is fully responsible for their own decisions, their own score, and their own conduct — with no sideline coach calling the next play. That structure is what makes it such an effective teacher.
Patience
Waiting for the right shot instead of forcing the wrong one.
Decision-Making
Weighing risk and reward on every swing.
Self-Management
Regulating frustration after a bad hole.
Accountability
Calling your own penalties, honestly.
Concentration
Staying present over four-plus hours.
Resilience
Recovering after a missed shot — and the next one.
Etiquette
Respect for the course, opponents, and the game.
Goal Setting
Working toward a lower score, one round at a time.
Emotional Regulation
Practicing patience, self-awareness, and healthy responses to pressure and frustration.
Talent and potential are everywhere. Access is not.
The issue isn't that young people don't know how to play golf — it's that many have never had access to it. Many of the youth FFGF serves have limited access to golf courses, driving ranges, equipment, professional instruction, golf technology, country club environments, golf mentors, golf-related careers, college golf pathways, and the networks and relationships connected to the sport. FFGF exists to help close that gap.
